1. Service

Storybook generates personalised fictional stories using AI. The service is for entertainment only and is not professional or educational advice.

2. Age

Users must be 6 years or older. Users under 13 require parental consent.

3. Acceptable use

No abuse, harassment, or attempts to bypass content safeguards. No commercial reselling of generated content. No automated access, scraping, or bulk generation.

4. Credits

Credits are non-refundable except in the case of a confirmed generation failure, in which case automatic reimbursement is issued.

5. AI content

Stories are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, unexpected content, or creative interpretations. Treat all generated content as fiction.

6. Intellectual property

You own the stories and images you generate for personal use. We own the Storybook platform, brand, and underlying technology.

7. Story retention

Stories expire per your plan tier. Pin any story to preserve it indefinitely.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
